Premium Shore Excursion Gran Canaria

Once we welcome our cruise ship passengers and guests staying in the area, we will depart from Santa Catalina Pier and head towards the center of the island to visit Teror. This beautiful town will captivate us with its traditional Canarian wooden balconies and the famous Basilica of the Virgen del Pino. There, you will have plenty of time to stroll around, explore the streets, or enjoy a coffee.

Next, we will continue to Firgas, known as the "water village" due to its northern Canarian tradition of water distribution through miles of ancient irrigation channels. Its most celebrated street is the main avenue, which features beautiful Seville ceramic tiles and 21 stone benches representing each municipality of the island.

Our next stop will be the Arehucas Rum Distillery, the oldest and largest in Europe, dating back to the 19th century. It produces over 14,000 bottles per hour and exports to 18 countries. A tasting session is included for anyone who wishes to try it. We will wrap up today’s tour with a visit to the historic center of Arucas, where you can take photos of the stunning early 20th-century Neo-Gothic Church of San Juan.

We will return to the pier at around 3:15 PM.
